SAVANNAH - Lois Bell Myatt, 85, died Friday, November 4, 2011, at Spanish Oaks Retreat and Hospice.
The Savannah native was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Temple and was a loving and devoted wife and aunt. Lois worked for over 30 years at J.C. Lewis Ford until she retired.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Myatt, Jr., her parents Nevada and Marvin Bell, and a sister, Kathleen Bell Neely.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Sharlotte Neely Donnolly Tom, Karen Myatt Sheehan Tim, Barbara Bryk Tuttle, and Mary Ann Bryk Pendzuk; nephews, Joseph R. Myatt, Jr. and Michael Bryk; sister-in-law Dolores Myatt; and several grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the care givers at Spanish Oaks Retreat and Hospice for their loving support of Lois.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning in the chapel at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Abbey East.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Calvary Baptist Temple, 4625 Waters Ave., Savannah, GA 31404, or a charity of your choice.
